Island Oaks RV Resort

Very nice, clean and relatively new place. Friendly staff, great amenities for all ages, and overall a great time. Kids enjoyed learning to fish in the fishing pond. Spots range from being right in the mix of things to secluded depending on what you prefer. Additionally, they look to be able to accommodate any size RV. Cabins look nice as well. While it’s located next to I-10, there’s enough wooded border that the road noise was not noticeable. My only gripe is that the sewer hookup is near the front of most pads which required a long run (and extensions) of our hose. The pipe is also about 6-8 inches off the ground which resulted in a dip at the last ~5 feet, so drainage was not smooth. Not a deal breaker, but definitely worth keeping in mind for next time.

Don’t know why this survey asks about rooms, it’s a campground. But it does now have some tiny homes like buildings that are pretty and cute looking. Since Island Oaks RV Resort opened last year, we haven’t gone to any of our other “go-to” campgrounds! It has everything (except a lot of trees which makes it more camping to us, but we live flanking now, lol) we need and want and more! Number one is it’s centrally located and only 40 minutes for us, so paying less for gas outweighs paying more to stay but we get so much more wonderful things to enjoy. Secondly, EVERY ONE of the people who work there, EVERY TIME, has given THE best service, been super friendly, helpful, fun and customer service is high priority for us. I do t know how they get their people to be upbeat and respectful, I don’t know. But congratulations to them all. Everything is CLEAN and so much to do for everyone. The pickle ball and gym,entertainment on weekends and events planned. And summer is truly resort heaven. Thanks to everyone who works hard to make it awesome fun. And or animals love it too! There are two dog parks.

We had a great stay. Friendly and professional staff. Check in was a breeze, wide entrance into the the office with plenty of room for multiple rigs. We had a pull through site, long and wide. Connections for electrical, water, and sewer in the middle of the site with plenty of room for slide outs. The site had a picnic table and a patio. Was able to park the rig so the steps and the outside kitchen were on the patio. We drove around the resort and ever site seemed to be easily accessed. We even scouted out where we would stay if we are back in the area. We are at the restaurant twice. The food was very good. Service was excellent. The selection for beverages was great. We would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area. Very dog friendly. Multiple dog parks within the resort plus lots of grassy area to walk your dogs.

My family and I absolutely had an amazing experience at Island Oaks RV resort. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. Facilities are only a year and half old, so everything is fresh and in good working order as well as very clean. Each day the resort had activities for the kids; krafts, movies, and lots of fun activities. Adults were also entertained with a live band. The restaurant served delicious food to our surprise. All in all we rank them in our top 3 resorts and we will delicious be back.

We camped at Island Oaks for the Grand Design RV Rally held on November 9-11. Yes, it is a new RV resort. The RV sites have concrete pads and are quite spacious. The grounds are nice, and the staff keeps it very clean. The store is beautiful and well-stocked, and the office staff is very friendly and professional. They have a dog park, a mini golf course, and a beautiful pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next one!

Went to a Grand Design RV rally here. What a wonderful place to have a rally. The restaurant staff and food was great. The camp store had everything you could want. The campground was very clean and the staff was on top of picking up your trash. The band was very enjoyable, pool was clean and hot tub was hot. Can't wait to return.

The RV Resort is nice with large sites and it is clean. Pool looks nice but was too cold for me to swim. The hot tub was cold and never fixed during our two week stay. The tavern and grill are nice and the pizza is excellent!! The fitness room is nice. We paid $25 to secure our site number but we were put in another site in the back of the campground. The Wifi did not work in the back of the park the entire two weeks we were here. When we were given the WiFi password we were not told that it wasn’t working. The pickle ball courts are nice. The employee are friendly and the restrooms and showers are clean.

We have stayed at Island Oaks at least 6 or 7 times now and have had an amazing time every time! We love the large sites and all of the super fun amenities. Our kids play from sun up to sun down and never get bored. Christine M at the front desk is always so kind and so helpful every time we call. She makes reserving our sites seem effortless. Thankful for her kindness and smiling face!
